Palm Beach Town Offices Closed for Juneteenth, Golf and Tennis Centers Remain Open

The Juneteenth federal holiday is Wednesday and the town offices will remain closed. There will be no construction or landscaping work taking place although they will keep recreation facilities open except for Seaview Tennis Center and at some point between 9 a.m. through 5 p.m., lifeguards will man town beaches.

Working between 8 in the morning and 7 in the evening, Mandel Recreation Center would be available; except for weekends when it remains closed all day then opening only during business hours on Saturdays. At 7:00 AM through 6:30 PM, Par 3 Golf Course will also be accessible on weekdays only as does Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center which opens at 7:30 AM while closing its doors at 7:30 PM each day- Monday through Friday-evenings included but limited since there were not enough courts available for play after sundown (however they were illuminated). In addition, the Town Marina operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

On June 3, the Seaview Tennis Center was closed for renovations.

There will be no change in the normal servicing of all residential and commercial garbage, recycling, and yard trash collections. For additional information, contact the town offices at 561-838-5400 or visit townofpalmbeach.com.
