Agra police commissioner Preetinder Singh among 6 IPS officers transferred in UP

Dr Ravinder Goud replaces Dr Preetinder Singh as the Agra Police Commissioner, who was appointed in November 2022.

The UP DGP Law and Order said that the state government has transferred six senior IPS officials including Agra Police Commissioner and DIG (Gorakhpur Range) to Lucknow on Tuesday.

Preetinder Singh, Agra police commissioner 2004 batch, transferred out and posted at DGP police headquarters Lucknow. Preetinder Goud, 2005 batch officer of IG Gorakhpur Range will replace Preetinder Singh as Agra police commissioner.

Another 2004 batch Indian, Chandra Prakash (II) has been made the new IG Intelligence, Agra Range. Chandra Prakash has been appointed as the new DIG Intelligence, Lucknow. The new DIG (Intelligence) Gorakhpur is a 2008 batch indian.

Prayagraj Range DIG: Prem Kumar Gautam, 2005 batch officer, who was on leave, has been appointed Prayagraj range DIG. Shiv Hari Mehena, 2010 batch officer, posted as Prayagraj Prisons Administration and Reform Services DIG, Gautambuddhnagar, has been appointed Additional Police Commissioner, Gautambhuddhnagar, replacing Suresh RaoA Kulkarni.
