The momentous occasion took place at a dazzling awards ceremony in Orlando, Florida, where the 22-year-old pilot captured the hearts of the judges and emerged victorious.

According to information from Miss America’s Facebook page, 2nd Lt. Marsh of Colorado is more than just a representative for her state. With a degree in physics and currently pursuing a master’s degree at Harvard Kennedy School in Massachusetts, she is both highly educated and dedicated to making a difference. In addition to her duties as Miss Colorado, she is also a passionate advocate for raising awareness and research for pancreatic cancer, a cause that holds personal significance for her since losing her mother to the disease in 2018.

Her impressive list of achievements includes a coveted NASA internship and the prestigious title of being a two-time National Astronaut Scholar. Additionally, she holds a private pilot certification and boasts a black belt in Taekwondo, further showcasing her diverse talents and capabilities.
