Vibrant Gujarat Summit: Mukesh Ambani calls Reliance Gujarati firm, says most successful PM

Modi and Ambani both hail from Gujarat, India’s fastest-growing state. The Vibrant Gujarat summit is being held in Gujarat.

Mukesh Ambani, the second richest person in the world, said in Gandhi Nagar on Wednesday that Reliance will continue to be a Gujarati business. He was speaking at the Gujarat Vibrant Summit, the capital of the coastal state, where the richest man in Asia expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Modi, calling him the most successful Prime Minister of India.

Modi and Ambani both hail from Gujarat, India’s most prosperous state.

I am a native of the city of Gateway of India. I reached the gateway of growth of modern India, Gujarat. I am proud to be a Gujarati. When people think of “New India” they think of “Gujarat”. How was the new India born? The answer lies in the hands of one leader. The most successful prime minister in Indian history and one of the greatest global leaders of our time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ambani said that Gujarat accounted for a third of his company’s $150 billion investment in India.

Reliance has always been, and will always be, a Gujarati company. Over the past decade, Reliance has invested over ₹ 12 lakh crores in the development of world class assets and capacities in India, with over 1/3rd of the investments being made in Gujarat alone, he said.

Hosted by Mukesh Ambani, the 10th edition of the world’s most prestigious investors’ summit is underway in Gujarat. This year’s edition marks 20 years of continuous growth and development of the summit, which Mukesh Ambani said is a testament to Prime Minister Modi’s vision and perseverance.

The summit was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was the Chief Minister of Gujarat at the time.

Ambani declared that “no power in the world can prevent India from becoming an economy of 35 trillion rupees.” He added that Gujarat’s economy would reach 3 trillion rupees.

Today, and in the present era of India, is the most opportune moment for young people to get involved in the economy, to innovate, and to bring a better quality of life and a better quality of livelihood for hundreds of millions of Indians. Future generations will thank you for being a nationalist as well as an internationalist.

You have laid a strong foundation for Vikasit Bharat, India as a fully developed nation. Amrit Kaal, no force in the world can prevent India from becoming an economy of 35 trillion by 2047. I see Gujarat will become an economy of 3 trillion by 2047, Ambani said.
